gently the wind blew your hair, flickered like a golden light

you smiled at me and said hi, arched so bright

the sound of your words, felt like flight

noise of the crowd deemed unimportant, as kisses showered

softly and gently your lips to mine, forever be engraved

heartbeats fast but time went slow, tightly i embraced

crossing streets with hands held tight, never letting you go

distance we defied, hoping these walls too would go
